If you are an influencer, we may also collect information about your social media accounts when you connect them to our platform, including account identifiers, usernames, follower counts, and post metrics.

We use the information we collect to operate and improve the BrandOInfluence platform, connect brands with influencers, process payments, send transactional emails (such as verification codes and campaign notifications), and comply with legal obligations.
3. Social Media Data
When you connect a social media account (Instagram, YouTube, or TikTok), we access your profile information and content metrics solely to display your reach to brands on the platform. We store access tokens in encrypted form. We do not post on your behalf without explicit authorisation.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data with third-party service providers only as necessary to operate the platform (for example, Stripe for payment processing and Resend for transactional email). These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by visiting our data deletion page or by contacting us.
6. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted storage of sensitive credentials, HTTPS for all data in transit, and JWT-based authentication with short-lived access tokens.
